➔ We will inspect the frame for any previous modifications and bodywork, align the frame for a perfect fit, and then refit all panels.
➔ We will remove all wiring and properly label them for the correct reconnection.
➔ We will then remove the gearbox and transmission and drain all the fluids.
➔ We will seal the seams, coat the frame or the metal shell using a rust inhibitor, prime the bare metal before painting.
➔ We will take out the bumpers, trips, wings, clips, boot lid, hood, doors, and other exterior panels.
➔ We will remove the windshield and windscreens.
➔ We will order all the replacement components from our partner suppliers to follow the project timelines.
➔ We will diagnose the engine to determine if it can be salvaged. We can do engine recon, swap, or upgrade.
A significant chunk of painting is preparation. Prepping involves stripping, filling, sealing, priming, and sanding.
➔ We will weld and seal any gaps before applying the etch primer to plug the metal. Our team will then wipe and clean all panels and parts to remove all dust, debris, and other particles.
➔ We will then use a primer to spray the shell then lightly sand it afterward using grit sandpaper. It is a delicate process because if you overdo the steps, we may have to repeat the process all over again. As a result, it will cost us delays and unnecessary costs in labour hours.
➔ Inspecting the handiwork is crucial to ensure there are no imperfections before applying another coat.
➔ Machine polish will give the classic car a good detail.
